Strength and Conditioning
This class is meant for anyone and everyone who is looking to lose weight, tone, strengthen muscles, increase endurance, and continue living a healthy life style. This class involves a combination of free weights, body weight, cardio, isometrics, timbatas, plyometrics, and of course core! This class will be different every time to keep your muscles and your mind guessing and you will never be bored!
Punching, kicking, kneeing, and elbowing mixed with all sorts of other endurance workouts to attack the cardiovascular system in a fun, stress reliving way. You will be shown the basics and learn to utilize these techniques to increase heartrate, strengthen and tone muscles, and of course work that core! We are nothing without a strong core! In addition to the fitness benefits of kickboxing, you will also be learning discipline and basic self-defense. Knowing how to use the techniques you learn in this class will give you the confidence you are looking for in your everyday life.
Getting ready for your next mud run, foot race, triathlon, or extreme sport? Preparing for an event gives you the opportunity to advance your strengths and work on areas you may need to develop all while working side by side in a team building environment. The focus is on muscular endurance and cardio to prepare for many hours of sustained exercise, and of course core strengthening because we are nothing without a strong core to keep us going!
Power Yoga enhances flexibility, mobility and balance while reducing joint pain. It combines traditional yoga positions, core flexibility movements and body weight exercises all while confined to a yoga mat. It also highlights breathing technique, muscle engagement and knowing when and how to modify to ensure a solid cardiovascular workout! A Fitmetrix heart rate monitor is required for this class so we can make sure you are getting the best out of each workout!
MEET THE COACH
Tim is owner and head coach of T.I.M.S. he has been in the personal training business for over 7 years. He has a background in exercise science and became a personal trainer at Golds Gym before pursuing his own group training sessions in January 2013. Tim has been a professional Mixed Martial Arts fighter since 2013, continually training and perfecting his sport. He has used his knowledge from school and years of fighting to create many exercise programs to meet all training levels from beginner to elite. For many years he has had the opportunity to travel around local gyms, seeing many different techniques and programs that he now wants to share with you! Tim believes that with a little bit of guidance and motivation, you can reach any goal you set for yourself. He looks forward to being by your side every step of the way!
Mike has been Involved in health & fitness in some form all his life. During Mikes younger years, he played semi-professional team sport (rugby) for the best part of 10 years in his homeland (Wales), during which he was exposed to many different exercise and training regimes.
After retiring from team sports, Mike started to transition into endurance-based events and have since successfully completed many half-marathons, marathons, Ironman Triathlons and Obstacle Course Races.
When not exercising or working, you can find him spending time with his family and trying to keep up with his 6-year old (particularly during the New England Winters skiing!).
Mike is an American Council on Exercise qualified Personal Trainer.
Vince is a coach that has a decade of experience in the physical fitness field. After graduating with a Bachelor's in Communications from UMass Amherst, Vince was certified with a personal trainer's certification from ISSA (Integrated Sports Science Association) in 2009. He then expanded into teaching group fitness classes in 2015 with a focus on a power yoga regimen that he relied on to overcome many years of accumulated, weight room-related joint injuries. During that time, he has assisted many former athletes and older clients with reducing pain and extending their longevity in the gym. He has since branched out into teaching strength and conditioning in many gyms and fitness studios throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Vince believes that with sound technique, proper breathing and the right attitude you can achieve anything. He currently lives in Nashua, NH with his wife Malika and a house full of fur children.
I am a very active and high energy person and have tried various gyms, classes and workouts over the years. Tim Caron’s personal training regimen and group workout programs are far more unique and enjoyable than anything I have tried. They certainly are not your typical, same old boring repetitive workouts. He is constantly refreshing his trainings by adding new and exciting challenges and he always modifies the exercises to your individual needs and ability to help you reach your goals. He is extremely knowledgeable and has an energy, passion and positive attitude that is contagious and keeps you motivated and wanting more. He has certainly helped me reach a new fitness level and helped me have confidence in my ability to take on new fitness challenges. His training helped me tackle the Spartan Killington Beast and I owe that success to his training.
I am a 44 year old Mom of 7 young children. I participated in a series of Group Event Prep Classes led by Tim Caron. Tim was an excellent trainer. His workouts prepared our bodies to tackle the toughest obstacles and to endure long and short distance races. His training programs are very dynamic, mixing the right level of cardio with total body strength training. As a trainer Tim is very aware of the abilities of all of the athletes in his classes. He will coach you and encourage you to accomplish your very best athletic achievements.

Brutality with a smile. Tim will put you through your paces. Your legs will burn, your arms will scream, and your core will shake, but he’ll make sure you have a good time while suffering.
Tim took our ill prepared and out of shape Spartan team and whipped us into shape. Twice per week, over the course of the summer, he pushed our soft office bodies to the point where we would groan and cry and plead to stop. His training took us from a team of slightly flabby wheezers, to a crew that could competently complete the 13+ miles of The Killington Beast. If not for Tim and the trainings he put together, I am confident that most of the team would never have made it.

“Working out with Tim is as much a blast as it is difficult. His workouts are intense, laugh-filled and incredibly gratifying. He’s as experienced and knowledgeable, as he a great motivator and leader. It’s an all around fun-filled sweaty experience that will leave you sore, proud and looking forward to your next workout with him.
Tim "The Bear" Caron will push you to achieve your goals and will make it fun along the way. I am 27 years old and I have played sports throughout my life. I was always in decent shape, but once I started training with Tim my cardio, strength and motivation was on another level. He trained a group of about 15 people including myself for a few spartan races over the summer and I think I speak for them all when I say he made it fun to get in shape.
I hired Tim in 2012 when I was training to become a Police Officer. I was overweight and couldn't run a mile to save my life. The test required me to run a mile and a half in under 13 minutes and I was ready to give up on my dream. Tim gave me the confidence I needed to keep trying on a daily basis. He met me at a track 3 times a week, worked out with me instead of just watching me, and gave me the motivation to strive for more when I was ready to quit. I can't stress enough how amazing it was to work out with him instead of observing me and yelling at me to do more. I gained more respect for myself and pushed myself further with him than any other trainer in the past. The training was never the same, which was amazing because it never felt repetitive. Of course I'm saving the best for last. On the day of the test, Tim actually showed up and ran next to me. Tim not only showed up early to every session, but he showed up on the day that mattered the most to me and we achieved my goal together Tim's training was exactly what I needed to achieve my goals and I can't thank you enough for coming to my test and running with me!
